Sir Frank Worrell was the first black captain to lead the West Indies team, uniting the island countries and bringing them to the top of the game.
This bat was used by Worrell at the height of his career to make 1,640 runs during the Commonwealth tour of India in 1949-50. Then in 1950 he topped the Test batting averages with 539 runs at an average of 89.83.
