Surmounted by design of roses, thistles and shamrock and drapery bearing the scores and surrounded by the inscription: The Grand Jubilee Match Played Monday July 10th 1837, at Lord's Ground. Between the North and South of England, Box and Cobbet given to the former. To Commemorate the 50th Year of the Marylebone Club. Presentation copy given to Box.

surmounted by design of roses, thistles and shamrock
and drapery bearing the scores and surrounded by the
inscription: The Grand Jubilee Match Played Monday
July 10th 1837, at Lord's Ground. The match, scheduled
to mark the 50th anniversary of the foundation of MCC,
was played between teams representing North and
South. The South won by five wickets.
