A modern design combing motifs derived from handkerchiefs of 1864 and 1847. In the centre is a portrait group above which is the title: All England Twelve - Second Expedition to Australia / 1863-1864 and below each figure is his name (see M.50.13). Around the border are drawings after Felix on the Bat by N. Wanostrocht, 1845, together with excerpts from the current Laws of the game, this border being similar to that surrounding a portrait group of the Eleven of England, 1847, (see P.12.187a in M. catalogue) and M.51.9).
