Round, black ebonised wood base with silver metal plaque. Inscribed ‘Coupe de L'Exposition, Paris 1937. Won by Lord Aberdare. This cup was presented to MCC by the Fourth Lord Aberdare in commemoration of his father's great achievements at Tennis and Racquets’. Stamped on stand: Mappin & Webb/Paris/ Rue de la Paix.
