Cricket match in progress at Crathie Cricket Club
situated at the foot of the Cairngorms next to Balmoral
castle. The cricket club’s Patron HRH Duke of
Edinburgh, Prince Phillip was also President of MCC in
1974 and 1949. In 2017 he opened the new Warner
Stand at Lord’s, his last official public engagement before
his retirement. (nb. NOT accurate, last official visit to Lords, not last engagement in total)
