Oak, with other wood raised in low relief, painted shield and scroll and silver inscription plate. Design: on a blue shield are (from top to bottom) a crown on which is a lion statant-guardant wearing a small crown, red; an albatross with spread wings, light blue; and an anchor, silver; all drawn in black. surmounted by a crown, gold, red jewel colours and fur white, all outlined in black. Below the shield is a scroll, gold, inscribed in black: Combined Services Cricket Association; above it is an oblong inscription plate, inscribed: Presented to the M.C.C./by the Combined Services Cricket Association/in apreciation of their generous support/of Service cricket over many years, 1963.
