Square base, with statue of Sir Donald Bradman attached on top. Bradman is wearing batting pads, and has a bat in his right hand and his Australia cap in his left hand. An inscription at the base of his feet reads; "The Final Salute, Sir Donald Bradman 1908-2001". An inscription on the front of the base reads; "THE 254 TROPHY, In recognition of the sporting friendship between the MCC (Lords) XI and the BRADMAN FOUNDATION XI, Presented on the occasion of the match held at Bradman Oval, Bowral, January 5, 20007". Inscription on the rear of the base reads; "On June 28, 1930, Don Bradman scored 254 runs in is first innings at Lords against England in the Second Test. He said "It was my best innings ever...". The Base has 18 metal shields attached to the side. A further 2 shields have become unattached and are resting on top of the base. On the bottom of the base there is a creator's sticker which reads; " Triumph Trophies, Shop Moss Vale Mall, 312 Argyle St Moss Vale, 02 4869 1166".
