Right boot with white, leather uppers. Leather soles and leather and canvas lining. ‘8’ and ‘CC41’ stamped on sole. Laced with eight enamelled metal eyelets. Civilian Clothing mark (CC41), maker’s mark, (A127) and quality mark (B/M3) stamped inside. One stud in heel, five in sole, ‘plus four’ brand [unverified]
CC41 Denotes made during or just after World War II. Purchased during rationing.
