Pair of wicket-keeping gloves. Red, leather trank and fourchettes, with perforations and three points. White diagonal band on cuff with brand. Red, dimpled rubber palm. Protection to digit ends and horizontal padding and cane inserts on cuff. Wide, single strap webbing. Strap and buckle on cuff with white piping. Inscription on right glove.
Lot 266 of 863: WASIM BARI'S WICKET-KEEPER'S GLOVES, match-worn, one signed & endorsed "To Jack, Eden Park 28 Feb 79, 7 catches, 3rd Test N.Zealand. World Record". [Wasim Bari played 81 Tests & 51 ODIs 1967-84. In 1979 against NZ he caught 7 of the first 8 batsmen, creating a world record for most dismissals in a Test innings].
