The Australian Team, 'George Parr's team', 1863-1864, belt and clasp. Wool on fine canvas, metal and brass. Belt length adjustable. Designs, belt: varicoloured floral pattern in cross-stich; clasp: relief (attached): column in centre around which is twisted a ribbon, each twist bearing the name of one of the team; leaning against the column on either side are a bat, wicket and ball. Below is a scroll inscribed: The Australian Team. Backstamp on clasp: lozenge-shaped registration mark of the date, 1st March, 1864.
