Metal trophy on oval wooden base. Square central plinth, with embossed figure of John Wisden on face, with curved supports. Topped with cricket stumps within a wreath. Open book on lower edge with inscriptions on metal plaque.

This replica Wisden Trophy was presented to England captain Ray Illingworth following England’s 2-0 win over the West Indies in 1969. Illingworth was one of Wisden’s Five Cricketers of the Year in 1960 and was awarded a CBE for his services to cricket.
