Description
Glass menorah or candle holder. Square base with two inscribed silver colour plaques. ‘Presented to Lord’s Cricket Ground from St. John’s United Synagogue – May 2021’; ‘In appreciation for hosting NHS Vaccination Centre “A Little Light dispels much Darkness”. V-shaped upright with central column filled with silver glitter. Etched diagonal branches. Nine candle holders on top edge.
Menorah: As the cricket season restarted, the baton of hosting the vaccination centre passed from Lord’s to the St John’s Wood United Synagogue. At a ceremony on 12th May, Rabbi Mendel Cohen presented the Club with a ceremonial menorah to commemorate the event.
