Rectangular, wood (oak?) desk with four square legs. Dark brown leather writing top. Tooled, gilded, decorative floral border (foliage, roses, thistle heads and clover/shamrock). Simple, curved moulded edge to top. Two drawers on either side, evidence of brass lock, but key holes have been stopped up. Truncated triangular handles to drawers. Small cupboard on each outer side, hinged doors with square knobs.
