Description
Cream coloured, heavy duty, top closing duffle bag with metal eyelets. Round base. ‘P F Warner’ printed on side, with a band of black, red and yellow stripes.
Travel in the early days of the cricket tour involved generic luggage unadapted to specific cricket equipment. Large heavy leather bags predominated in the first half of the twentieth century and Sir Len Hutton’s bag, painted in Yorkshire colours, was used for almost twenty years.
