Left bowling shoe with white, synthetic leather upper, mesh inserts and perforations. Black textile lining. Padded mesh tongue with new Balance logo and ‘652’. Laced with six eyelets. Holes for seven studs on sole. Player signed on left side in black pen. New Balance 'N' logo on toe and left and right sides. 'New Balance' embroidered in blue on back of heel. '652' label inset on back of heel. 'New Balance Tennis' insole. Resoled with plastic sole and white, rubber dimpled heel. Rubber added around toe for extra drag

Boje was sponsored by New Balance and you can see the modifications on this size 9, `cross trainer`, made from a mix of leather and synthetic materials. It has extra rubber for drag on the toe with a half-sole configuration of studs at the front and rubber tread on the heel added to the original sole for extra grip.
