Description
Framed, mounted and glazed aquatint print. Depicts a game of cricket in progress with a group of boys, some holding cricket bats in the right foreground. Two large trees on right side and lone tree on left. This is Treen’s Tree, a famous landmark at Rugby School before it was cleared to build new buildings. Group of buildings in the background, low thatched barns or cart sheds to the left, two storey building on right with curved end wall. Title, school crest and dedication below.
