Straight bat with spliced, treble sprung, cane handle. Black, rubber grip. Two maker's marks on face: W J Breeden, The Nonpareil, Extra Special, Extra Spring. Reverse: The Nonpareil, Extra Special and signed [D A] Dawkins. It was donated to MCC by J Gardiner (not Gardner) and D Dawkins, but there is little info in the minutes other than ‘Bat’ I’m afraid.
