Crystal trophy on a wooden base, depicting a stylised wicket with oval cartouches. Etched pictures of W G Grace; Lord’s Pavilion and MCC logo.
Eleven years after the Bicentenary match, the world’s greatest cricketers assembled at Lord’s once more. Once again it was M.C.C. v the Rest of the World, but on this occasion the contest was a 50-over match played in aid of the Princess Diana Memorial Fund. The match took place on the 150th anniversary of the birth of W.G. Grace. Waterford Crystal donated this trophy to mark the event.
