Description
Doulton Lambeth, stoneware cup. Tapering cylindrical form. Caramel glaze with small, impressed floral pattern. Three, sprigged, white figures of batsmen. Maker’s marks on base: Doulton/Lambeth (trade mark); 1881, a small daisy; artist’s mark l and two small rectangles.
Doulton ware c. 1880 decorated with cricketers in relief, and various implements of the game and cricket wear.
Height: 5 ¼ (5 3/8 in pencil)
