Treble sprung bat with spliced cane handle, twine wrapped. Three vertical red India-rubber inserts. Humped back. Lent to W.R. Hammond by G O Allen, during his innings of 336 not out for England v. New Zealand at Auckland, March 31st - April 1st, 1933. The blade was badly broken during the innings.
