Descripción
Two stumps and bail. The tops of the wicket are carved into two prongs that support the bail and widen towards the bottom. Fitted into a oak stand, presumed to represent the ground rather part of the original wicket.
The 1744 code of Laws described the two stumps as being twenty-two inches long, joined by a bail six inches in length. When the third stump was added there was no increase in size until 1798, when the height was increased to 24 inches and width to 7 inches.
