Sind XI v West Indies, 1948
The first cricket match of a visiting international team on Pakistani soil was played between West Indies and a Sind XI on 19th November 1948 at Karachi Gymkhana Ground. Anwar Hussain (seated 8th from left) and J D C Goddard (9th from left) captained the sides. Standing in the middle row third from the left is Badruddin. Standing in the last row are Wazir Ali, Alimuddin and Dinshaw (2nd 3rd & 5th from left respectively)
