Description
Summers, Brown & Sons Ltd bat with spliced cane handle, twine wrapped. Treble sprung with three rubber inserts. Black rubber grip. Humped back with moderate swell. Blade bound with adhesive tape. Maker’s marks on blade. Inscription on reverse.
Used to score his 197th and last century in 1st class cricket. 116 for Surrey v Lancashire at Old Trafford, 28th May 1934
