Head and shoulders portrait of a cricketer wearing MCC red and yellow cap and white shirt. The gentleman has a long thick, dark beard and moustache. Signed by artist and Grace
Grace opened the batting for England in the fateful Oval test of 1882. His 32 in the second innings took England to 53 for 3; more than halfway to their target. His dismissal shortly after Ulyett’s saw the game shift in Australia’s favour.
