Two crossed bats, stumps and a spiked shoe in a triangular shape. Brought back from South Africa by Major R.G. Warton, presented to him in South Africa 1888-1889.
CRICKET EMBLEM. Gold (South African): wicket and 2 crossed bats surmounting spiked shoe; fitted as pendent; height 11/4”
The emblem was given to Major R G Warton as Manager of the English team in South Africa 1888-1889.
