SOLD. China plate, Commemorating W.G. Grace's Century of Centuries 1866-1895. Re-issued in 1908. Coalport china, white underglaze, rim has irregular indentations; rococco design in three repeats. Decoration: in blue and gold - design similar with M.57.8, M.46.11 and M.48.26 except that there is no scroll edging in gold. Inscribed on back: In/commemoration/of/Dr. W.G. Grace's/Century of Centuries/1866-1895/* signifies not out. Stamped on back: (trade mark) a crown with the words: England/Coalport/A[D] 1750. Impressed stamp: 6108.
