Decoration: transfers in blue - body: on either side is a river with Windsor Castle in the background and a game of cricket being played with curved bats and two stump wicket in foreground; the players wear top hats and knee breeches. Neck and foot: borders of large flowers and leaves. Handles: patterned with acanthus leaves. Lid: a different view of the river and castle with fishermen instead of cricketers. Handle moulded in the form of a basket of flowers. Stamps: on scrolls, the words: Metropolitan Scenery/Windsor Castle; a knotted rope; the brush letters: N O N O.
