Curator's correspondence (Diana Rait Kerr), journals, designs and silk relating to the creation of a cricket tie patchwork designed by Netta Rheinberg and sewn by Mrs J B (Nancy) Buchanan. Subjects include donations of ties by cricket clubs and societies, plans of the patchwork including a diagram of where the ties would go, request for the quilt to appear alongside Rachael Heyhoe on Michael Aspel's programme 'The Monday Show', copy of The Cricketer from September 1965 including Rheinberg's request for cricket ties. The file includes samples of Cambridge Blue Silk and a tie from the Olton Cricket Club. A large-scale diagram of the quilt detailing where all the crests would go is also in the archive.
