Figure of a batsman on a wide base, c.1885. Metal, silver plated. The batsman stands with left hand resting on bat handle, right hand in the air as though holding up some object (missing). He wears a cap with buttoned fold over small peak. A relief pattern of large leaves forms the surface of the base which has an indented edge. Scratched on base T/N.
