Small, ½ pint pewter tankard with handle and ridged base. Slightly concave form with lipped rim. ‘MCC’ stamped on one side. Also capacity mark ‘1/2 pint’; verification mark ‘GR 6’ topped with crown and illegible mark [47] to left of handle. Marks inside X Y (in triangle) & +. Maker’s name on base. Used at Marylebone Cricket Club in the Lord's Tavern (1868-1966) Possibly from 1947
