Writing about himself in the third person: `J.A’s stomach turned over’ witnessing wanton cruelty on a street corner and he describes the need to visit a township twice – the second time with MCC Secretary Billy Griffith - `to ensure that he had not been mistaken in the appalling degree of degradation’. Upon his return he freely voiced his opinions on BBC’s Any Questions only to be upbraided by `officials’ for the strength of his opinion.
