Description
Large, white, kidney shaped plate with gold, red and black painted rim. Two dark red inkwells in the shape of cricket balls. Each contains a small detachable inkwell. Also decorated with two, three stump wickets and a pair of crossed bats. Maker’s mark printed on base. Circular scroll, ‘John Mortlock Oxfrod St & Orchard St London 1884’ with globe ‘Minton’s’ and sovereign’s crown,
