Spliced bat with triple sprung handle. Smooth rubber grip. Inscription on face, signed by Sadiq Mohammad. Maker's stamp on face. Maker’s decal on reverse ‘Gray-Nicholls’ blue banner over red shield with four martlets/birds. Signed by 1972 – 1973 Pakistan and New Zealand teams.

Lot 236 of 863: WAZIR & SADIQ MOHAMMAD'S CRICKET BAT, endorsed on front "To Jack, With best wishes. This bat has been used by two Mohammad brothers, Wazir Mohammad & Sadiq Mohammad. Wazir Mohammad scored 189 and 97 in 4th Test against West Indies in 1958. Sadiq Mohammad in 1971 scored 91 runs against England in 3rd Test at Leeds in England. In 1973 against New Zealand scored 166 and 68 in First Test at Wellington. Sadiq Mohammad, 16 Feb 1973". Fair/Good match-used condition (few worm holes).
