Three First Day Covers Commemorating the Ashes victory of 2005. On the left of two of them is a red outline of a bat diagonally crossing a set of stumps with a ball in the foreground, with First day of issue written in red in the bottom left corner with a thistle above and a envelope with union jack below. The third has a red outline of a bat with a ball and two stumps to the left and a gold border along the left hand edge, with 'first day cover' written in gold in the bottom left corner and 'Cotswold covers' written below. All three have, in the top right corner, four stamps, the top left is the team celebrating winning the Ashes with Michael Vaughn holding the urn. Top right is Michael Vaughn hugging Andrew Flintoff, with a third player to the left. The bottom right is an appeal made by a fielding team. Bottom left is an England batsman going out to bat. The three blue ECB lions are to the left. A black oval stamp in the centre has a drawing of a bat, ball and bail with 'Victory at The Ashes 2005 The Oval, London SE11 6th October 2005.' Also includes letter of provenance from Cotswold Covers & Stuart Covers.
