Large suitcase with brown and cream checked exterior. Wooden substrate. Metal clasps, carry handles and protective corners. Wooden slat detail on front and lid secured with Louis Vuitton branded nails/ studs. Cream lining, quilted inside lid. Travel labels on exterior. Maker’s labels interior. Two maker’ labels adhered to interior ‘102469/ Louis Vuitton/ Paris/ 1 Rue Scribe/ London/ 454 Strand/ Quote above number/ to duplicate/ Medaille D’or Paris 1889 Hors concours Chicago 1893.' Address in red paint on lid. Area of black, red and yellow stripes on lid.
