Description
Left bowling boot with white and silver neoprene upper. Moulded, Traxion sole with Torsion System and vents as part of the Climacool breathable sole. Laced with seven eyelets and two Vewlcro straps. Two Champ studs in heel and four on outer edge of sole. St. George’s flag motif on Velcro strap, ‘emily’, ‘abbie’ and ‘isabel’ (player’s daughters) on outer edge of boot. Worn during 2006 Ashes. Sample boot, not for resale. Toe taped with surgical tape.

M.2013.26.86 Adidas ‘Climacool’ Bowling Boot of Steve Harmison
This is a custom made, high-cut, size 12, synthetic leather bowling boot. Worn during the 2006 Ashes Series it features the names of Steve Harmison’s children on the side and taping to the toe area. The reason for this latter addition is unknown but could have been a habit carried over from amendments to previous sets of boots.
