Silver chain and pendant. The chain is a plain link design with clips at both ends to attach to clothing and a 'T' bar attached. The pendant is quite detailed. The central image is of a batsman standing before a wicket, with scroll detailing around the edges. The reverse has a blank shield on the back ready for inscription, however there is none. The chain has the hallmarks B.B.L for the company ‘B B Ltd’ (1950s), no location stamp, the lion passant indicating the silvers quality and the lower case letter ‘b’ representing the year 1957. The pendant is older. The hallmarks read H.B for Herbert Bushell (1897 – 1908), the anchor indicating it was produced in Birmingham, the lion passant indicating the silvers quality and a lower case ‘a’ representing the year 1900.
