Description
Vintage lithographic poster for the Underground with two black and white paintings of Lord's Cricket Ground (the top image) and The Oval (the bottom image) with text in between the two with fixtures for both grounds for May 1913. In the top image the Lord’s Pavilion dominates, flanked by the stands which have a large crowd. On the field are a batsman, wicket keeper, umpire and six fielders. The Oval is depicted with the famous gas holders in the background. In the fore ground, a cricket game is being played to a large crowd.
