In 1938 the Australians opened their tour at Worcester. Traditionally first class matches were played there and teams visited the factory of the Worcester Royal Porcelain Company. To commemorate these visits, the Company produced, in limited editions, a series of fine bone china plates decorated with the signatures of their guests. An example of each of these plates has been presented to MCC by the Company.
