Claret Jug presented to Mr J.F. Curran. P.F. Warner's XI v All New York, Staten Island 1897. Cut glass and silver. Design: the jug tapers from the base upwards; cut (including handle) in a geometric pattern; the silver collar has an ornamental lower edge and beaded rim and spout. Inscribed: (1) All New York vs. Mr P. F. Warner's English XI Staten Island Sept. 13-14-15, 1897. (2) Presented by Radnor Mineral Water Co. Won by J.F. Curran: 31 runs. Hallmarked: [Brit]R[?]; Sterling 212 B, (etc.)
