Odense Cricket club, Model Viking Ship (one of a pair) presented to the M.C.C. team touring Denmark, 1952. Single-masted open sailing and rowing boat whose figure-head, breastbone and curled tail (continuous) suggest a dragon. Oar holes on either side are protected by rows of circular shields. Brass hull with wooden mast and stay, wooden stand. There is an outboard rudder inscribed: Tron Art/Copenhagen/Denmark. Engraved on the sail is a medalion framing a bird.
