- DescriptionWall decoration from Woburn Abbey, c.1750, comprising of crossed racquets mounted on a carved hanging. Wood and sheepsgut, the handles bound with leather. The racquets, which are strung with loops, are suspended where they cross by a ribbon of wood 'tied' above in a tripple bow and finished below with a single tassle.This record may relate to object marked TN.2008.1708, in curator's office, cabinet H, shelf 2.
