Blue washes heightened with white. Design by James Thorpe, modelled after a lithograph of William Lillywhite. Illustration was based on an illustration entitled 'Alfred Mynn'. Design: within a circle of 4 3/8 ins diameter, is a drawing of a bowler with right arm stretched sideways at shoulder level; he wears a top hat and braces. The setting is rural, with a church on the horizon. Decorating each of the top two spandrels is a ball and in the lower ones a bat.
