Pottery bowl decorated with cricket scene, with two tents; c.1870. Staffordshire pottery, white underglaze. Decoration: transfer in sepia - three variations of a game of cricket. Overglaze colours: crimson, blue, yellow or white blouses, crimson, blue or white trousers, green foliage. Leaf and pod border inside rim.
