Jack Hobbs bat, with spliced cane handle, twine wrapped. Black rubber grip, melted. Three horizontal rubber inserts. Signed by J B Hobbs. Presented to James Cottam, schoolboy cricketer, for taking 5 wickets at Moulton Grammer School v Spalding. Aged 15, 1938. Maker’s mark on blade.
