Blue flannel cap with embroidered emblem of Australian Commonwealth / Military Forces worn by wicket-keeper-batsman Hammy Love.
Love’s early career was thwarted by World War One and he served with the Australian Imperial Forces in England. He played for both New South Wales and Victoria and he was also part of the Australian team that toured India under Jack Ryder’s captaincy in 1935-6.
