The record consists of poetry and prose on cricket. The sleeve contains liner notes by Arlott on the reverse. The record was published by the Argo Division of the Decca Record Company. The sleeve's cover contains a picture "The view of the city of Chichester, dedicated to members of the Priory Park", a lithograph by Henry Burn, September 1852, reproduced with MCC's permission.
