Cigarette card depicting a coloured illustrated head and shoulders portrait of George Geary. He is wearing a white shirt, blue MCC tour blazer with red and yellow trim and England home cap with three lions crest on the front. Series No.13.
Biography on reverse reads: "G. Geary (Leicestershire) Making his debut for Leicestershire at the age of 29. Geary speedily became one of the best fats medium bowlers in the country. Has taken over 100 wickets in a season on ten occasions, his best being 152 in 1929. In that year Geary took all 10 Glamorganshire wickets for 18 runs in 16 overs, including 8 maidens. He has toured West Indies, Australia and South Africa, in addition to playing against Australia in this country."
