Postcard depicting a black and white photographic group portrait of the 1929 South Africans in England, eleven players are standing in a row. All players are wearing cricket whites, five wear South African caps with spingbok head crest on the front whilst one holds his, one wears pads and gauntlet keeping gloves. Pavilion filled with spectators in background. Message on reverse reads: "Dear Braham This is the South African team taken today. Love to you all [?] Joe." Sent to: Braham Myers, 38 Leeds Road, Harrogate. Scarborough postmark, 1929-09-04, 7:15 pm.
