Matte postcard depicting a photograph of two signed cricket bats. One by Australian and South African cricket teams of the 1912 Triangular Tournament on a Summers Bown "FORCE" cricket bat used by Jack Hobbs. The other is a "FORCE" bat signed by an England Cricket Team and Yorkshire (County Champions), the bat used was by Jack Hobbs for a Wimbledon XVIII in a Wimbledon charity match played 28 September 1912. Text underneath states: "This "FORCE" Bat realised the sum of £124 13s., beating all records. In 1909 a "FORCE" Bat realised £87 14s., being previous highest record for any bat. Photo by H E Hickox.
